An interactive group for male and female adults who meet WEEKLY on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon for activities which promote relaxation, and socialization. So as to offer valuable peer support for consumers with disabilities looking to reach out to others, a Volunteer Mentor facilitates this weekly group.

Information on the Illinois Accessibility Code was recently presented to a group of adults with disabilities by architect John Stanton. John is currently the President of the Center's Board of Directors, and offers strong experience in accessible design and building code compliance.
