to the Will-Grundy Center for Independent Living! My name is Pam Heavens and
I am honored to serve as executive director of the Center. Our Center provides you, a person with any type of disability
of any age, the opportunity to live life the way you wish to live it. When
you use our programs and services, you will enjoy complete control over your
services. No one at the Will-Grundy Center tells you what to do, but rather
provides information, resources, and ideas so you can make your own decision.
The Center provides four core services including advocacy,
information and referral, peer counseling, and skills training. The additional
services we provide are based on the needs of our community and are listed
on this web site.
The Will-Grundy Center operates solely on grants and contributions.
Our government grants often do not increase from year to year, yet our expenses
continue to rise. If you are a potential donor to our Center, if you would
like to help raise funds for the Center, or if you would like information on
becoming a Board member, please contact me. I will be happy to speak with you!
