Warm greetings during this holiday season! This is the perfect time to share with you some of the wonderful achievements that have been made by people with disabilities who have accessed the programs and services of the Will-Grundy Center for Independent Living.
In addition to this heartwarming story, the WGCIL achieved many successes this year:
This year has been particularly difficult due to reduced state funding, but we continue to work diligently to empower persons with disabilities. We need your help, though, and ask that you make a contribution to the Will-Grundy Center for Independent Living to help build the bridges to independence for persons with disabilities. Please fill out the attached form to support WGCIL or make your gift online.
Thank you for your support during this holiday season.
Sincerely,

Here are just two of our many amazing stories:
“I am so grateful that our son has an iPad, This device will allow him to play independently. Someday, I hope that he will be able to say ‘Mom’. You made our Christmas and New Year”.
– Mother of a 6 year old child with a disability who received an assistive technology device to increase his independence.
After becoming blind, Russell was sent to a nursing home. He contacted the Center because he wanted to live on his own. Since then, he has learned Braille, enrolled in wine classes at a local college, and is writing a cookbook. “I cannot say enough good things about the Center. Please support it”.
